Robert Half Director of Construction in Houston, Texas
Description Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Construction. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in remodeling projects and proficiency in cost analysis, as well as a strong background in developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Responsibilities:
The Construction Director will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the construction process from conceptual development stage through to final construction, ensuring all projects are completed timely and efficiently. This role requires implementing and streamlining new processes and cost savings.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field
Experience in the single family home industry with a particular focus on remodeling
Strong project management skills with the ability to complete projects on time and on budget
Proficiency in cost analysis and budgeting, with a focus on identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies
Experience in developing and managing KPIs
Knowledge of building maintenance procedures and operations required.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the company mission
