Description We are seeking a Programmer Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. The role involves working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Amazon EC2 in a hybrid workplace setting. This employment opportunity offers a contract to hire, providing a platform to showcase your technical and client-facing communication skills in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work in an AWS Environment, running an EC2 box and managing GIT repositories.

• Download and compile code, perform unit testing and build test cases with Selenium.

• Participate actively in meetings, engage in collaborative discussions, and provide solutions for AWS box requirements.

• Contribute innovative ideas to meet customer requirements and work effectively with offshore developers.

• Understand business requirements and collaborate with the Business Analyst to ask the right questions and provide solutions.

• Work onsite in the Houston area as required, transitioning from a virtual environment.

• Handle a large volume of work, demonstrating readiness to understand and manage the technology.

• Display strong communication skills, both in technical and client-facing situations. Requirements • Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) is required.

• Experience with Amazon EC2 is necessary.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is expected.

• Strong analytical skills to understand and solve complex programming issues.

• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement software solutions.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Knowledge of various programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Proven experience in testing and debugging codes.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.

• Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git.
