About Us:
Robert Half client is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis.
Responsibilities:
Process high-volume accounts payable transactions accurately and timely using our larger ERP system.
Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests for accuracy and completeness.
Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues with vendors and internal departments in a professional manner.
Prepare and perform weekly, monthly, and yearly accounts payable reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.
Provide support to the accounting team in ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable roles.
Proficiency in using a larger ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) required.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, procedures, and controls.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with automation or process improvement initiatives is a plus.
