Responsibilities include data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution, and providing statements to various departments. This vacancy is based in the Independence, Ohio area and is a permanent opportunity. This position is ideal for candidate with strong communication skills who can successfully work with the internal team and external customers.
What you get to do every single day
Other duties as assigned
Administer and distribute reports as instructed
Be able to create and run custom reports
Contact employees via email and phone to collect timesheet approvals
Organize data into spreadsheets and the payroll system
Ensure efficient operation of the department by performing clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc.
Deliver instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc. Requirements - Payroll software experience suggested
Payroll for over 500 employees experience preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of Automated Payroll
Deep understanding of Process Bi-weekly Payroll
Ability to easily learn new systems
Highly organized and self-motivated
1+ years of previous payroll experience
Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
Excellent oral and written communications skills
