This Desktop Support Analyst position, which is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity, is located in the Kansas City, Kansas, area.
Key responsibilities
Resolve computer problems, and give guidance on appropriate action/solutions
Develop records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Arrange hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Supply computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
Retain, investigate, and restore computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Interact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters Requirements - Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing
General familiarity with Active Directory
Good understanding of cost analysis
Consumer Electronics experience highly preferred
Strong familiarity with research
Experience with Phone Presenc
Microsoft Office 365 experience preferred
Knowledge of Apple Devices
Workstation Support experience preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of Technical Support
Earlier work involving Windows OS
Mac Computers experience desired
Comprehension of Computer Hardware
Adeptness in Troubleshoot
Mobile Device experience highly desired
Demonstrated knowledge of English Language
Foundational knowledge in VPN Technologies
Hands-on experience with Diagnose Problems
Deep understanding of Printer Hardware
Previous experience working with Desktop Hardware
Laptop Hardware experience highly valued
Background working with Operating System
Prior experience with Workstations
Microsoft experience required
Practical knowledge of Deskside Support
Experience with Ticketing System
