Robert Half Trade/Sales Assistant in Kansas City, Kansas

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented Trade/Sales Assistant to join our team in Kansas City, Kansas. Our focus is on the telecom industry and this role will entail processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Research and resolve short and long-term promotional deals as per the division aging report

• Perform aging analysis at the beginning of every new period to identify deals that have a significant dollar loss and ensure funds are recovered in a timely manner

• Prepare weekly and period balancing schedules to ensure the financial data reported on the Trade Funds report are accurate and up-to-date

• Research vendor repayment requests on deals previously reconciled to assist in resolving disputes

• Assist in the period-end close process to ensure reconciled deals fall off the aging report

• Provide support and feedback to department management regarding deal reconciliation issues

• Work specific deals identified by management needing attention

• Utilize skills in Billing, Aging Reports, and PeopleSoft to perform duties efficiently and effectively. Requirements • Candidate must have prior experience in a Trade/Sales Assistant role or a similar position.

• Proficiency in handling Billing procedures is necessary for this role.

• Ability to generate and interpret Aging Reports is required.

• Experience with PeopleSoft software is essential.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.

• Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to business needs is required.

• Possess problem-solving skills to handle customer issues effectively.

• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is desirable.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is desirable.

• Must maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
