Robert Half Billing Clerk in Kansas City, Missouri
Description Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client seeking a Billing Clerk. Billing Clerk responsibilities include creating invoices and credit memos, sending payment reminders, and updating accounting records and customer information. If you are a dynamic Billing Clerk with excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills, this may be the role for you.
Your responsibilities
Compose journal entries for all adjustments to billings
Assist customers and handle billing complaints
Answer requests from clients and vendors
Prepare reports to company's executives and senior managers
Gather all information needed for bills receivable calculation
Communicate with vendors/clients regarding billing adjustments
Collect payments (online payments, cash, etc.) and check for accuracy
Update accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information etc.
Send reminders for payments and contact customers if needed
Manage customer accounts, check for outstanding debts, incorrect or incomplete information, or other problems
Send out bills and invoices to customers via available channels (physically or via email or another digital system)
Send out periodical customer account statements
Check for billing data accuracy and fix any errors as needed Requirements - Proficiency with Microsoft office applications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associates Degree preferred.
