To succeed in this Accounting Manager role with a burgeoning, innovative company, you will need to take charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Your responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Assemble a variety of technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses
Regularly review and inspect balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
Lead and encourage the full accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure deadlines are met

Requirements - Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Accrual Accounting experience
Fixed Asset Accounting experience preferred
Adeptness in Consolidated Financial Statements
Accounts Payable (AP) experience highly preferred
Accounting management experience
Experience with GAAP Accounting
Accounting close process experience desired
Demonstrated knowledge of financial statement preparation
Practical knowledge of Leadership Skills
Earlier work involving general ledger
General familiarity with Internal Control
Background working with Accounts Receivable (AR)
CPA or MBA preferred
Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Solid technical skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
5+ years of recent relevant financial experience
