Description We are offering a role in the construction/contractor industry located in Lisle, Illinois, United States. The job function is that of a Collections Specialist. This role is a contract-based employment opportunity that involves managing accounts receivable processes, including lien waiver management and AIA billing, coupled with proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and invoices

• Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions and communications with clients

• Proficiently handle lien waiver management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures

• Experience with AIA billing processes, including familiarity with AIA billing forms and procedures

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes

• Utilize Excel to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and track key metrics

• Communicate effectively with clients to facilitate prompt payment and resolve outstanding issues

• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to accounts receivable and collections

• Use skills such as Microsoft Excel, Billing Functions, Collection Processes, Collector, Credit, Collections, Account Reconciliation, AIA Billing, Lien Waivers, Resolve Disputes, Accounts Receivable (AR) to effectively perform duties. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Knowledge of Collection Processes

• Prior experience as a Collector

• Understanding of Credit and Collections

• Ability to perform Account Reconciliation

• Experience with AIA Billing

• Knowledge of Lien Waivers

• Ability to Resolve Disputes

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
