Position Overview:
As a Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role on our Consulting Team, supporting various accounting functions and contributing to the overall financial health of our clients. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, conducting analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in accounting and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Perform month-end and year-end close processes
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
Support internal and external audits
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Stay updated on accounting regulations and ensure compliance with GAAP
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting roles
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
