Description We're looking for a Financial Analyst with effective communication skills. This job is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team. Duties will consist of financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Other daily assignments will include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. Your responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is adept at managing expectations and comfortable with handling large amounts of information

  • Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required

  • Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are properly executed

  • Recognize potential risks and opportunities while analyzing performance to date

  • Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

  • Keep track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations and enabling business partners to handle their resources

  • Compose and oversee forecasting reports

  • Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support

  • Collaborate with the Accounting team on the monthly and quarterly financial close process

  • Explain and understand internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

  • Endorse weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings as well as P& L forecasting Requirements - Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience a plus)

  • Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

  • Prior experience in Spreadsheet and ERP system

  • Skill with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

  • BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

  • Comprehensive knowledge of budget forecasting

  • Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

  • Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
