Robert Half Enrollment Specialist in Los Angeles, California

Description We are in the non-profit sector, based in Los Angeles, California, seeking an Administrative Coordinator. This role involves providing direct or program related services to clients, ensuring compliance with all city, county, and state subsidy childcare contracts. This is a temporary employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the recruitment and enrollment of new clients in the subsidy program through in-person meetings, both scheduled and walk-ins.

• Receive and process documentation required for client enrollment.

• Provide information and support to clients on childcare options.

• Collaborate with outside agencies to verify clients’ needs and eligibility for service.

• Manage, review, and verify all eligibility required documentation for enrollment of clients within a timely manner.

• Evaluate all client income in the household and apply a family fee, if applicable.

• Maintain, complete, and organize client files according to program regulations and guidelines.

• Manage assigned caseload of clients.

• Maintain knowledge of the Title 5 Regulations and State Funding Terms and Conditions for all applicable programs.

• Maintain current and accurate client records in designated databases.

• Maintain confidentiality of clients' personal information as required by contracts.

• Ensure clients' complaints are accurately logged and resolved in a timely manner or referred to Subsidized Programs Supervisor for appropriate resolution.

• Proficient in MS Word and basic office skills. Requirements • Proficiency in MS Word is required

• Must possess basic office skills

• Previous experience in an administrative role in a non-profit organization is preferred

• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Experience in coordinating and managing projects is an advantage

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances

• Must have a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities

• Experience with office management systems and procedures is beneficial

• Knowledge of non-profit industry standards and regulations is a plus

• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain professionalism at all times

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders

• Must have a high degree of integrity and ethical standards.
