Description
A prestigious AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a new litigation legal assistant for their LA office. This firm handles high stakes litigation and they have a wonderfully collaborative team environment. My team has placed five support staff with this firm in the last year and a half, and they ALL still happily work here. Other legal assistants we have placed here say this is the nicest large firm they have ever worked for. This is a new litigation legal assistant position the firm is adding due to growth.
The ideal legal assistant will have 5+ years of civil litigation experience. The ideal litigation legal assistant will have stellar organizational skills and attention to detail.
This litigation legal assistant will be responsible for:
State and federal court filings
Opening new client files and communicating with clients
Saving documents to the firm’s document management system
Time entry and assisting with client billing
Scheduling meetings, travel, and other matters
