Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the Investment Management industry for a Staff Accountant in Los Angeles, California. This role will be centered on managing the company's financial procedures and records, offering a dynamic and vital position within our team.
Responsibilities:
• Processing financial transactions to maintain accurate financial records
• Preparing financial reports to provide transparent and up-to-date financial information
• Reconciling bank statements to ensure accurate financial tracking
• Facilitating audits to maintain financial integrity and compliance
• Maintaining ledgers to accurately document all financial transactions
• Ensuring the accuracy of financial documents to maintain reliable financial records
• Preparing tax returns to ensure legal compliance
• Assisting with budget preparation by providing necessary financial data and analysis
• Answering financial and accounting requests by researching and interpreting data
• Ensuring all financial transactions are carried out following company policies
Skills:
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Auditing
• Familiarity with Budget Processes and Cash Activity management
• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services and CapEx
• Experience performing Accounting Functions in a corporate environment.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate accounting within the investment management or similar industry
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with CapEx and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• Familiarity with ERP Solutions
• Profound understanding of Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Prior experience with Auditing, Budget Processes, and Cash Activity management
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
