Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Louisville, Kentucky
Description Robert Half is seeking a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an essential part of a company's rapidly growing team. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, your duties will include matching, batching, and coding invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks. How you will make an impact
Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Operate full-cycle A/P
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
Provide support during internal and external audits
Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department Requirements - Deep understanding of Check Runs
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Commercial real estate experience
QuickBooks experience
Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
Strong organization skills
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
