Description Look no further, Human Resources Managers. Robert Half is partnering with a growing client to immediately hire a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department. Key responsibilities
Participate in interdepartmental meetings with other managers
Grow the organization's human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
Teach employees such that they follow all policies and procedures
Generate recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws
Review reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs
Put in place management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
Research and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings
Lead human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Organize exit interviews and procedures
Organize historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records
Lead all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team
Research compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits Requirements
Strong time management and organizational skills
PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are desired
-Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or a related field
Proficient with HR software and working knowledge of MS Office and Workday
Exemplary ethics, integrity, and standards
Ability to view issues without prejudice
-2-4 years of HR management with a focus on strategic business partnering in a manufacturing environment or a strong HR Generalist looking for the next step in their career
Wide knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure
Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
A familiarity with the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations
Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
