Description We are offering an opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. This role is crucial in maintaining financial record keeping and reporting systems, supervising receivables, payables, cash receipts, cash disbursements, and general ledger functions. As a Senior Accountant, you will also be responsible for updating the financial procedures of the organization and ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain financial record-keeping and reporting systems

• Supervise receivables, payables, cash receipts, cash disbursements, and general ledger functions

• Assist in ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close

• Update and improve the financial procedures of the organization

• Handle responsibilities for filing sales tax forms

• Execute any other tasks assigned related to the finance and accounting department

Skills:

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of software like NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP Requirements

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Experienced in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Knowledgeable in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Ability to manage General Ledger

• Skilled in making Journal Entries

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to handle Month End Close
