Description
Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Tax Manager. The ideal Tax Manager will have proficiency in Excel and tax software and technology, as well as expertise in various types of tax returns and financial statements. This the role for an experienced Tax Manager or Tax Senior looking to make the next step in their career and looking for a challenging role at an established company.
Your responsibilities in this role
Assemble and manage oversight of tax audits and tax correspondence and facilitation- Determine tax best business practices and relay to staff accountants and accounting managers
Review and supervise the preparation of quarterly tax projections, and communicate required estimated tax payments
Help with the preparation of quarterly tax projections and communication of required estimated tax payments
Aid in the compliance of financial and tax reporting policies and procedures
Support compliance and planning for tax matters like waivers and tax returns
Prepare and examine complex income tax returns
Supervise and review quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
Help with compliance of tax and financial reporting procedures and policies

Requirements
Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field required
CPA preferred
4+ years' experience in tax accounting
