Description
If you have experience as an Internal Auditor and do well in an active and effective work environment, Robert Half may have the role for you. Strong communication and the ability to multitask is preferred for this Internal Auditor position. The Internal Auditor opportunity, which is located in Maryville, Tennessee, is a permanent role.
Key responsibilities
Build audit observations and recommendations to management both verbally and in writing
Perform complex regulation audits - testing the controls
Help coordinate third-party compliance assessments and audits
Help with the production of audit programs by setting the objective, scope, and work program of individual audits
Record test results and provide support for an objective and informed opinion of the risk exposure
Help map and record processes to pinpoint top risks and integrity controls
Take on special research and projects as needed
Perform regular follow-up on both open and past due internal audit and SOX observations
Communicate project status to team members in an effective manner
Requirements
Audit Tests experience
Proven knowledge of University Degree
Corporate Internal Audit experience
Proficiency in internal control review
Well-founded grasp of CPA
Control Testing experience preferred
Expertise in Internal Control
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and IIA standards
Prior experience with operational and financial audits is highly desired
CPA a plus
Public audit or consulting experience; corporate internal audit experience also acceptable
