Description
Robert Half is recruiting a Benefits Administrator for our client. The benefits administrator will manage and curate the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs. Common operations in this benefits administrator role will involve researching alternative benefits programs, implementing enhancements to current programs, and overseeing all general tasks associated with benefits administration. How you will make an impact
Administer leaves of absence and process claims or requests (medical operations, worker's compensation etc.)
Run enrollments and determine employee eligibility
Ensure organization complies with applicable government regulations
Monitor daily benefits processing
Craft benefit appropriate programs such as insurance, wellness etc.
Support administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes
Review transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration
Coach employees on their benefit options
Evaluate and negotiate with all our service providers
Develop deep knowledge of employee benefits plans and vendors
Work closely with and maintain professional communication with accounting department
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or similar relevant field
3+ years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience
Experience with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
Excellent communication and organization skills
Hands-on experience with data analysis
Familiarity with benefits contract language
