Description Robert Half, the world's first and largest specialized staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Accountant for our growing manufacturing client. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with hands-on month-end close, budgeting, and variance analysis experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings with utmost precision.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing thorough variance analysis to ensure the alignment of budgets and financial trends with business strategies.
Audit and reconcile financial discrepancies by carefully analyzing information.
Assist in developing and executing fiscal strategies that align with company goals.
Ensure all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Significant experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.
Proven proficiency in month-end close, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Vlookups, pivot tables etc.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Solid experience in risk analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
