Description
We are seeking an organized and motivated Entry Level Accountant to join our client's growing team! This role involves assisting with day-to-day transactions, financial reports, and tax filings. This individual will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of our accounting process. Ideal candidates will have a relevant educational background and a basic understanding of financial principles.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for all business accounts and transactions.
Assist with the processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Help manage and update expense reports.
Assist with tax filings and audits.
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
Assist in budgeting and financial planning.
Adapt to changing technology regarding new software applications.
Participate in maintaining records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities.
Adhere to financial policies, regulations, and legislation.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail and numerical competency.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as a key member of the financial team.
A readiness for self-development and upskilling.
