Description Our reputable client is seeking a CFO to join the company. The CFO must have an ability to work well with the CEO, board members and other senior executives, as well as strong analytical, strategic-planning, operational and communication skills. A combination of industry and public accounting experience is highly valued. This is the perfect role for an experience CFO looking for a challenging role at an established company.
Responsibilities
Ensure the integrity of a company's financial information and suggest improvements
Develop and maintain relationships with investment institutions and investors
Supervise all finance personnel
Govern accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
Own vendor relationships
Analyze cash flow as it relates to the organization's operations
Manage upgrades and implementations for financial systems
Manage or oversee the relationship with independent auditors
Recognize and control insurance requirements and business risks
Hire, train and retain finance and accounting staff
Enforce staff compliance with company policies and state and federal laws
Provide strategic management of the accounting and finance functions Requirements - MBA, CPA, CGMA or CMA preferred
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
5+ years' management experience
Public accounting experience a plus
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and IIA standards
10+ years' experience in accounting or finance
