Robert Half TT&E Legal Assistant in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Legal Assistant, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal administrative support within a dynamic work environment. This role involves significant client interaction, particularly with elderly clients, and requires experience in tax, trusts and estates (TT& E). This will be a contract opportunity from May through August.

Responsibilities:

• Establishing and maintaining good rapport with clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

• Providing comprehensive support in Tax, Trusts, & Estates, assisting in the preparation of legal documents and the resolution of legal issues.

• Utilizing case management software to manage and streamline client cases.

• Leveraging LexisNexis for legal research and case-related inquiries.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Office Suites for administrative tasks and client communication.

• Handling billing functions, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.

• Preparing and reviewing legal briefings, providing key insights where necessary.

• Managing the legal team's calendar, coordinating meetings and appointments.

• Handling client complaints professionally, ensuring all issues are resolved promptly.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation related to all client cases.

• Applying knowledge of estate law to provide effective legal assistance.

Requirements

• Possess proficiency in Case Management Software for efficient handling and organization of legal cases

• Familiarity with LexisNexis for effective legal research and case study

• Familiarity with Chrome River, NetDocs, 3E, Kastle, and Rendezvous preferred

• Demonstrated ability in using Management System for organizing, planning and controlling resources

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suites for efficient office management and documentation

• Able to handle Billing Functions to ensure accurate invoicing and financial management

• Experience in Briefing for delivering clear and concise information to legal teams

• Excellent skills in Calendar Management to schedule and track important events

• Capable of handling Complaints professionally and effectively

• Strong Documentation skills to maintain accurate and comprehensive legal documents

• Knowledge of Estate Law for handling legal matters related to estates and trusts.
