Description
Robert Half is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support our clients on a contract or contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounts payable processes and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. This role is critical to ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Vendor Relations: Maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies promptly.
Expense Reports: Process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Payment Runs: Prepare and execute weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions and vendor statements.
Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Reporting: Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare accounts payable reports as needed.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounts payable experience in a fast-paced environment.
Education: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Strong Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Attributes: Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
