Real Estate Developer/Construction Management company is seeking a General Counsel to handle all legal requirements encompassing the full operations of the company and affordable housing projects. Candidates with 7+ years of law firm or in-house experience in commercial real estate, land use, and financing will be considered for this role. Qualified candidates will also have familiarity with NJ land use law and various sections of the IRS code related to tax credit affordable housing. Contract drafting and negotiation is critical in this position. NJ bar required. Technical skill set, ability to handle a diverse and fast moving work flow, and willingness to "roll up your sleeves" are qualities this company seeks.
