Robert Half Accounting Clerk in Naples, Florida
Description Robert Half is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk to work in the Real Estate - Other industry, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a short-term contract / temporary position located in the Naples, Florida area. This job offers an opportunity for career advancement and features an energetic, team-oriented environment. What you get to do every single day
Companywide accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
Collaborate with Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, process daily invoices/credit, and help with collection of past due balance
Prepare statements and reports that require utilization of a number of sources
Harmonize discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
Transmit financial information to journals and ledgers
Assemble documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes
Support Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing Requirements - AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
Ability to multitask effectively
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is ideal, but not required
Expertise in data entry
Bank Deposit experience
