Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Nashua, New Hampshire
Description
We are in search of a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our clients accounting team based in Nashua, New Hampshire. This role is pivotal in managing cash flow and collecting payments from clients, thereby ensuring smooth operation of our financial system. The individual will have a significant impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.
Responsibilities:
• Process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
• Maintain meticulous financial records for the organization
• Manage cash flow and ensure smooth financial operations
• Collect payments from clients and resolve any payment issues
• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records
• Complete check runs and code invoices as necessary
• Perform data entry tasks and process invoices
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial operations
• Execute 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipts.
Requirements
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices is essential
• Must be adept at Data Entry and Invoice Processing tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary
• Familiarity with 3 Way Matching
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
• Must maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
