Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to oversee the financial operations and compliance of their organization. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering team development. As the Controller, you will assume responsibility for all accounting operations, supervising transactions involving the general ledger, receivables, grants, and financial reporting. In addition, you will lead the preparation of financial statements while maintaining documentation of financial policies and procedure to ensure compliance with all local, state, and city reporting requirements. In this role you will be tasked with preparing monthly budget reports, providing strategic insights into revenue and overall financial performance. Requirements
-BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-6+ years of experience required; Non-profit experience required
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
