They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team and contribute to our continued success.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a strong background in healthcare finance. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare accounting principles and regulations, along with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, as well as providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and healthcare industry standards. Provide variance analysis and explanations for key financial metrics.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support informed decision-making.
Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid regulations. Prepare and submit required reports and filings in a timely and accurate manner.
Financial Systems Management: Oversee the maintenance and optimization of financial systems and software applications. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to streamline workflows.
Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and analysis as required. Implement recommendations to address any findings and enhance internal controls.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA designation preferred.
Minimum of 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with experience in a healthcare or non-profit setting
Thorough understanding of healthcare accounting principles, including revenue recognition, expense allocation, and healthcare reimbursement methodologies.
Proficiency in financial management systems and software, as well as advanced MS Excel skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills, with a collaborative and results-oriented approach.
