Description
We are currently searching for a Marketing Assistant in the Mount Pleasant, SC, area for mission-driven non-profit. Responsibilities:
As the Marketing Assistant, you'll be responsible for:
Planning and coordinating events ensuring each event aligns with our mission and objectives.
Handling event logistics, including scheduling rentals, arranging assistance, and managing on-site coordination to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Creating compelling marketing materials such as social media posts, flyers, and email campaigns to promote events and increase attendance.
Establishing and nurturing relationships with vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and other stakeholders to support our events and organization.
Overseeing the overall success of events, monitoring metrics, and gathering feedback to continuously improve our event planning and execution processes.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have:
Previous experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a non-profit or community-focused setting.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and engage with stakeholders.
Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and graphic design software.
A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for creating memorable experiences and driving positive change.
