Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Security Network Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and implementing the cybersecurity infrastructure and program at a healthcare system. This is a hands-on role where you will collaborate with other technical teams, maintain the security posture of the environment, and respond to threats.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and implement the cybersecurity infrastructure and program

• Collaborate with other technical teams to maintain the security posture of the environment

• Respond to threats and maintain knowledge across multiple domains such as networking, server, endpoints, mobile, cloud, etc.

• Conduct technical security testing and review technical architecture for security compliance

• Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends

• Manage patching, maintaining firewalls, and scanning for vulnerabilities

• Possess an understanding of network defense technologies, TCP/IP networking, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, network security monitoring tools, secure engineering principles

• Work with industry-standard security tools such as ProofPoint, Cisco AMP, SpecOps

• Maintain advanced knowledge of Network Security, Endpoint Security, Server hardening, patching, and baselining

• Handle Mobile device security, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Log analysis, and other related tasks

• Demonstrate skilled critical thinking and possibly scripting knowledge (Python, Perl, Powershell)

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of Network Security.

• Proficient in Network Security Monitoring.

• Familiarity with Palo Alto Firewall is required.

• Strong understanding of Firewall and Endpoint Security.

• Experience with SIEM Tools is essential.

• Must have skills in Log Analysis.

• Ability to detect, prevent and resolve security threats and breaches.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.

• Relevant certifications in Network Security are a plus.

• Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field.
