Description
We are offering a role for an Accountant in Oakdale, Minnesota. This role is primarily focused on various accounting functions within our team. You will be involved in everything from processing customer credit applications to maintaining accurate customer credit records and resolving customer credit inquiries. This opportunity offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records
• Actively resolve customer credit inquiries and issues
• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and take appropriate action for delinquent payments
• Perform monthly general ledger reconciliation including bank statement
• Prepare monthly entries to the general ledger with support from the Controller
• Track employee PTO and keep the payroll system updated
• Assist in developing the annual budget
• Responsible for ensuring accurate inventory and performing production builds at warehouse location
• Process invoices, bank deposits, and post client payments to Sage 100
• Responsible for recording purchase order related accounts payable transactions
• Work within the vendor terms to maximize cash flow
• Manage the year-end 1099 and W9 process.

Requirements
• Must possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field of accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems is required.
• Experience in using ADP - Financial Services is a plus.
• Knowledge of Sage 100 is essential.
• Must be adept at performing various accounting functions.
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
• Auditing skills are a must.
• Expertise in account reconciliation is required.
• Familiarity with bank reconciliations is needed.
