Description
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent training.
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required, with the ability to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking patients and healthcare providers.
Prior experience working as a medical assistant in a clinical setting is advantageous.
Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in taking vital signs, performing basic medical procedures, and assisting with examinations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to provide culturally sensitive care.
