Description
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for numbers and a passion for finance? Our client, located in the vibrant coastal community of Oceanside, is seeking a dynamic Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of the financial operations, responsible for managing receivables, ensuring timely payments, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, billing, and collections.
Prepare and send out customer invoices, statements, and reminders.
Monitor accounts to ensure timely payment and follow up on overdue accounts.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Process incoming payments and apply them accurately to customer accounts.
Generate aging reports and analyze accounts receivable data for trends and insights.
Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and resolve billing disputes.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
Prior experience in accounts receivable or finance is a plus but not required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is desirable.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic industry.
Positive attitude and team player mentality.
