Robert Half Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager in Odessa, Texas
Description We are offering a role for a methodical and meticulous Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager in our team located in Odessa, Texas. The successful candidate will oversee the submission of all accounts receivable, the development and maintenance of customer files, and the resolution of any invoice discrepancies. This position also involves the administration of claims, refunds, adjustments, and other accounting transactions related to A/R management.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the submission of all accounts receivable
• Develop and maintain customer files
• Resolve any invoice discrepancies
• Administer claims, refunds, adjustments, and other accounting transactions related to A/R management
• Reconcile Accounts Receivable statements as directed
• Prepare statements for the credit department if a customer fails to respond
• Keep records of collection and status of accounts
• Follow established procedures for processing receipts/cash
• Sort and file documents after posting
• Use various accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, ERP Solutions, Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400
• Manage accounting functions, accounts receivable, billing functions, cash activity and collection processes Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, such as Accounts Receivable Supervisor or Manager
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must
• Familiarity with ERP Solutions is necessary
• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) is desired
• Experience with IBM AS/400 is a plus
• Deep understanding of Accounting Functions is expected
• Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Proficiency in Billing Functions is required
• Experience in managing Cash Activity is desired
• Familiarity with Collection Processes is necessary
