Robert Half IT Quality Assurance Tester in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Description We are inviting applications for the role of a Quality Assurance Tester based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The successful candidate will be part of our IT team, primarily responsible for assessing software quality through manual and automated testing. This role involves finding and reporting issues, conducting tests, analyzing results, and reporting observations.
Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze system specifications for optimal testing strategies.
• Carry out both manual and automated test executions, error reporting, analysis, and verification.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide detailed reports.
• Report and document technical issues to the development team and assist in troubleshooting.
• Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize work and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support and document existing business application testing and related issues as required.
• Identify and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Filter and "clean" data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate code problems.
• Use various tools such as Atlassian Jira, Bug Tracking, Database, EO/IR systems, HP Quality Center, AB Testing, Defect Management, Integration, Java, and QA Management in the execution of duties. Requirements • Proficient in using Atlassian Jira software for tracking and managing projects.
• Possess skills in bug tracking to ensure timely resolution of software issues.
• Familiarity with database management is necessary.
• Knowledge of EO/IR systems for improved testing processes.
• Experience with HP Quality Center for managing software testing.
• Able to perform AB Testing for optimizing user experience.
• Proficient in Defect Management to track and resolve software defects.
• Strong understanding of Integration testing to ensure all system components work together.
• Proficiency in Java programming language is necessary.
