Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Overland Park, Kansas
Description We have a pressing need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to supervise cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, clerical staff, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close. If you're a Full Charge Bookkeeper residing in the Overland Park, Kansas area, we have a Robert Half client who has a permanent position available. Major responsibilities
Competent in credit card management and reconciliation
Manage Accounts Payable
Note budget transfers
Form monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Keep sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Put subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirements together
More tasks as requested
Experience with Accounts Receivable
Maintain monthly accounting close
Supply cash flow projections, as needed
Condense business license and gross receipts
Create cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc. Requirements
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
- 3+ years of related experience- Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
Highly organized and self-motivated
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Bank Account Reconciliation experience
Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Solid understanding of Yardi
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
