Robert Half Accounting Specialist in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida
Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The successful candidate will primarily be tasked with accounts payable and receivable, reconciliation, and some light month-end tasks. You will also be expected to work with Microsoft Dynamics and other accounting software systems.
Responsibilities include:
• Processing accounts payable and receivable in a timely and accurate manner
• Performing reconciliations of financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Assisting with month-end procedures
• Utilizing Microsoft Dynamics and other accounting software systems to manage financial transactions
• Providing support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks
• Updating financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and readily available when needed
• Preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports
• Assisting with other accounting projects as needed
• Ensuring all payments are completed on time (including direct deposits and manual checks)
• Reporting on the status of accounts payable and receivable. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems for managing financial data and transactions
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services for efficient payroll management
• Knowledge of Concur for expense reporting and management
• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) for financial and business management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Understanding of overall Accounting Functions for accurate financial recording and reporting
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform Billing Functions accurately and efficiently
• Experience in Check Processing for timely payments and record keeping
