Robert Half Pricing Analyst in Paramus, New Jersey

Description

We are in search of a Pricing Analyst to join our team in Paramus, New Jersey. As a Pricing Analyst in our commercial distribution firm, you will play a vital role in analyzing revenue, assisting with business quotes, and maintaining price lists in our ERP system. You will be collaborating across business functions to understand pricing components and develop tools for tracking customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed analysis of revenue to our sales and senior management teams

• Assist with new business quotes and conduct profitability analyses of products and customers

• Maintain and update price lists for all customers in the ERP system

• Develop innovative pricing models to support the evaluation of new business opportunities

• Collaborate with various business functions to understand pricing components including manufacturing, freight, and customer rebate programs

• Develop and implement tools to track customer engagement and ensure effective pricing strategies

• Provide in-depth actionable data for the sales team through sales analytics tools

• Assist with monthly financial revenue reporting and budget preparation

• Address and report pricing-related issues and concerns to senior management

• Conduct in-depth modeling of item and customer P& L’s to inform pricing decisions

• Troubleshoot processing errors and correct data issues

Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pricing Analyst or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools is required.

• Demonstrated ability in Data Mining Techniques is essential.

• Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is necessary.

• Should possess strong finance skills and understanding.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.

• Must have a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.

• Must have the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Attention to detail and accuracy is crucial.

• Knowledge of pricing strategies and market research techniques will be advantageous.
