Robert Half Financial Analyst in Pasadena, California

Description

Robert Half is in search for a Financial Analyst for local ongoing opportunities. The Financial Analyst, you will conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Additional duties include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. Financial Modeling:

· Develop and maintain financial models to analyze and forecast company performance

· Use spreadsheet tools to create projections, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

· Collaborate with various departments to create and manage budgets.

· Prepare financial forecasts, identifying trends and potential areas of concern or opportunity.

Financial Reporting:

· Generate and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

· Communicate financial results and trends to management and stakeholders.

Variance Analysis:

· Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts.

· Identify and investigate discrepancies, providing explanations for variances.

Decision Support:

· Provide decision support by analyzing financial data and making recommendations for strategic and operational decisions.

· Assess the financial impact of potential investments, projects, or business initiatives.

Market and Industry Analysis:

· Monitor economic and industry trends that may impact the organization's financial performance.

· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements

Success-driven Financial Analyst candidates with 3+ years experience and previous Financial Services experience are ideal. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics is required. Advanced MS Office expertise as well as excellent communication and presentation skills are also required.
