Robert Half Quality Assurance Analyst in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description

  • Demonstrable Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or other automated testing suite".

  • Test front and back-ends of an online data collection system.

  • Independently develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures for a large data collection system.

  • Develop and define major and minor characteristics of quality including metrics and scoring parameters.

  • Create test cases for all user types.

  • Identify and document testable events.

  • Complete all testing to prepare data application to be submitted for UAT.

  • Front-end Testing, including: functionality of text boxes, dropdowns, buttons, page navigation, keyboard shortcuts, 508 compliance, and the look and feel of the overall application.

  • Back-end Testing, including: test scripts for automated testing, regression test analysis and results, complex queries to load/stress test the database and check its responsiveness, database schema mapping, stored procedure validation.

  • Login, user security, permissions and privileges.

  • Storage and archiving procedures to ensure correct functioning.

  • Documentation and Communication.

  • Provide summary results and detailed descriptions for errors and bugs.

  • Organize feedback from UAT and work with lead developer to plan fixes as necessary.

  • Communicate regularly with the project manager, designers, developers, security team, research team, and user support team.

  • Maintain a high level of detail in all required documentation.

  • Provide regular contributions to project status reporting.

  • Be a creative thinker! Think through each project and explore/develop fresh ideas

  • Self direction with a strong attention to detail.

    Requirements

Cypress, Selenium

  • BS in Computer Science or related Technology Degree.

  • 3+ years of related experience

  • Experience working in an Agile environment.

  • Experience working with version control systems such as Git.

  • Willingness to travel to company headquarters in Philadelphia (1-2 times per year).

  • Extremely comfortable working with remote teams.

  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks and deadlines.

  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and the ability to obtain a high-level Public Trust Federal Security Clearance.
