Description
Robert Half is partnering with a prestigious Fortune 500 healthcare client to fill several positions for Medical Claims Representatives. This collaboration offers a unique opportunity for seasoned administrative professionals with a healthcare background. The Medical Claims Representative role is centered around providing crucial clerical support to the medical collections department, facilitating a seamless billing process. This position is an on-site opportunity located in the vibrant city of Phoenix, AZ.
Key Responsibilities include:
Efficient retrieval, review, and printing of patient documentation.
Thorough examination of medical claims for accuracy, including detailed review of CPT and ICD-10 codes.
Preparation and distribution of communications to payers and patients regarding outstanding payments.
Supporting billers and collectors by managing necessary documentation effectively.
Requirements
Qualifications that we're looking for:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 1 year of prior healthcare collections, billing or claims experience required
At least 6 months of medical terminology knowledge
Healthcare practice management software experience preferred
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Experience using Microsoft Office
strong knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOBs) to include claims denial
