Description
We have partnered with a local telecom company to recruit a Corporate Controller. Join the team and be part of a fast-growing company! The company is located in a beautiful office in Plano, has great benefits, flexible schedule and unlimited PTO. Must have 10+ years of Public Accounting and or Industry experience, including the ability to be a leader. The Corporate Controller will also participate in other general accounting duties.
The ideal candidate must have Vice President (VP) or Controller experience from a public company, particularly with an international presence. Big 4 Experience Preferred! CPA required!

Key Requirements
● Serves as a trusted business partner to the CFO and other executive team members, providing strong leadership to a global high-performance finance organization, contributing to the success of the company.
● Leads and directs accounting functions, all internal and external financial reporting, revenue recognition, overseeing global accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll and ensuring timely and accurate monthly closings.
● Responsible for preparing financial information that will be presented to the Audit Committee.
● Provides business functions with information, metrics, and counsel to effectively manage the business to achieve corporate goals.
● Proactively engages in contract structure and negotiation to optimize financial impact.
● Ensures appropriate processes and internal controls are in place for all financial processes.
● Leads internal and external financial statement reporting processes, overseeing all related financial filings (including lenders and SEC)
● Oversees international tax and statutory filing requirements
● Develops accounting policies in compliance with all applicable/relevant standards, developing efficient processes and procedures to ensure compliance.
● Cost effectively managing the accounting organization by optimizing the use of technology, as well as building a scalable infrastructure to support the future growth of the company
● Scales the accounting function to keep pace with fast growth by selecting and developing a highly effective and efficient global finance team.
● Excellent leadership skills with experience managing a large, global accounting and finance organization
● Strong SEC, FASB, IFRS and GAAP knowledge.
● Strong knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance requirements.
● Deep knowledge of revenue and equity standards and their application.
● Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Strong/Excellent level software proficiency and understanding of technology, in general.
● Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with all employee levels and customers.
● Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
Requirements
Bachelors of Finance or Accounting
CPA is required
10+ years experience
Public company with international presence experience
Big 4 experience preferred!
Industry experience: Experience with telecom or high-tech equipment manufacturing a plus
