Description
Established law firm in Pleasanton, CA has an immediate opening for an Attorney! This Attorney will join a growing insurance defense practice focusing on general liability matters. As an Attorney with this firm, you'll participate in all aspects of the litigation lifecycle with a focus on legal research and law and motion work. If you're seeking a position to grow your litigation career and work autonomously with a skilled group of litigators, this is the position for you. This Attorney must be able to work on-site in Pleasanton, CA on a hybrid basis. The ideal candidate will hold an active CA Bar license and have 10+ years of California-based insurance defense, preferably general liability, experience in an attorney capacity.
Responsibilities:
Develop case strategy
Conduct legal research
Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, memos, and other legal documents
Communicate with insurance providers as needed
Discovery management
Prepare for depositions and trial
Projects as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
Must hold an active CA Bar license for consideration
10+ years of California-based insurance defense, preferably general liability, experience in an attorney capacity
Ability to work on-site in Pleasanton, CA
Strong legal research and writing abilities
Ability to work autonomously
