Description
A mid-sized, full-service law firm in Portland is seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join their growing practice. The firm offers a very flexible (up to fully remote) schedule and a competitive compensation package.
The ideal candidate will be barred and experienced in both Washington and Oregon.
Primary Responsibilities:
Represent employers and insurance carriers in defense of Workers’ Compensation claims.
Prepare and argue motions, including summary judgment motions in both state and federal courts.
Conduct and defend depositions.
Manage and direct cases to final resolution.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Stay updated on Workers Compensation law, trends and case laws.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $160,000. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; participation in the company's 401(k) plan with 4% match; flexible paid time off and paid holidays.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to the bar in Washington and Oregon.
Minimum of 3 years of Workers’ Compensation Defense experience.
Excellent research, writing and advocacy skills.
