Description

Sara Walker with Robert Half is welcoming applications for a Billing Supervisor/Manager role in the architecture industry, based in PORTLAND, Oregon. This role focuses on managing and overseeing all billing activities, collaborating with project managers, and maintaining billing systems. This role offers a dynamic and detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all billing activities, including invoice preparation and account adjustments.

• Handle client billing inquiries and ensure prompt resolution.

• Collaborate with project managers to gather all necessary information for accurate billing.

• Ensure that all invoices comply with contractual terms and conditions and adhere to client-specific requirements.

• Implement and maintain billing systems, databases, and procedures to maximize efficiency and accuracy.

• Coordinate with the finance team to reconcile billing accounts and resolve discrepancies.

• Provide regular reports on billing activities and accounts receivable status.

• Manage and mentor billing staff, ensuring a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and customer service.

• Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting billing processes.

• Utilize skills in Billing Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, specifically as a Billing Supervisor/Manager

• Proven experience with Billing Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Business Administration, Finance, or related field

• Strong knowledge of billing procedures and best practices

• Proficient in using billing software and other related financial systems

• Excellent leadership and team management skills

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
