Robert Half Finance is looking for an extraordinary Financial Analyst to join a dynamic firm. In this position, you will conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing reports for management and advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives. As a key business partner on a dynamic team, you will work in areas including forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Financial Analyst role, which is located in the Princeton, New Jersey, is a full-time employment opportunity. Your responsibilities in this role - Endorse weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment level Bookings as well as P L forecasting - Become embedded within the Marketing and Customer Success organizations. Establish trust and quickly understand the key drivers of the business, economic trends and core metrics - Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required - Analyze performance to date and assessing potential risks and opportunities - Work closely with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close processes - Provide methodical support within the New Year readiness/Year End planning cycle - Drive the strategy and business planning process - Enable successful Business Intelligence (BI) to deliver valuable foresight and decision support - Work alongside senior executives on strategic deep dives to create financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization - Work closely with cross functional partners in Accounting, Recruiting, People and Operations to execute against plans - Track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations to ensure business partners handle their resources in the best way possible - Develop a strong understanding of econometric and statistical methods to apply to forecasting - Explain and understand internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending - The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is comfortable with large amounts of information and adept at managing expectations
