Robert Half Business Analyst in Quincy, Illinois
Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst in Quincy, Illinois! This role involves using technical and support skills, as well as business acumen, to help our client grow and improve. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the user community, identify user needs, create BI reports, provide data analytics, application training and support, and much more.
Additional Responsibilities:
Collaborating with the user community to identify their needs
Creating BI reports to help inform business decisions
Providing data analytics to support strategic initiatives
Offering application training to users to ensure effective use of business tools
Giving support to users to resolve issues and improve processes
Translating technical information into a non-technical representation for stakeholders
Rapidly learning new knowledge and skills to stay current with industry trends
Utilizing MS Office Suite, with a focus on Excel, to manage and analyze data
Communicating effectively with various stakeholders, both written and verbal
Leverage tools like Atlassian Jira, Database, EO/IR systems, Gap Analysis, Informatica, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Process Functions, Business Requirement Document, Design, Oracle Cloud to fulfill job functions.
Requirements
Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is essential for managing projects and tracking issues
Must have a strong understanding of database principles and database design
Familiarity with EO/IR systems is necessary for this role
Experience in conducting Gap Analysis to identify improvements in business processes
Knowledge of Informatica for data integration and management tasks
An understanding of AB Testing to optimize performance is required
Must have experience in Agile Scrum methodology for project management
Understanding of Business Process Functions to analyze and improve business operations
Ability to create comprehensive Business Requirement Documents to guide project development
Must have experience in Design, specifically related to business process and system design
Proficiency in Oracle Cloud for managing applications, databases, and services is necessary.
