Description Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a CFO role for an investment fund in Northern Nevada. This role requires the CFO to be on-site weekly. The role is a great opportunity to be a part of standing up the fund infrastructure and to be the architect of the back office support functions including accounting, trade operations, and administration for a fund with under $500MM in assets being carved out of a family office. My client is seeking:
• An entrepreneurial finance leader looking to get in on the ground floor to build out the operational side of an equity investing business as it spins out from a family office
• At least 4 years prior experience working in the accounting function for an investment fund that manages public equities
• At least 2 years of prior Big-4 accounting firm experience
• This position is a partner-level position with equity economics in the general partnership

5+ years' management experience
Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
Big 4 Public accounting experience
10+ years' experience in accounting or finance
Proven organizational and leadership skills required
Strong technical background in public accounting (GAAP)
Strong communication and social skills
